Sutra

This piece was the hardest one I've worked on in a long, long, loooong time X_x First of all, it took me roughly 2 hours--sketching in pencil first, then inking (with my crappy Horse Farm Tours, Inc. clicky pen that I got in Kentucky... the same one that kept dying on me through the first half of the drawing... >_<, then coloring (with cheap RoseArt colored pencils that I had to keep sharpening every 10 seconds x___x). ZOMYBOB does my hand hurt... and of course, I still see sooo much wrong with it, that I am too tired (not just lazy for once xD) to fix now. ;_; Anyway... enough of my complaining... (omg I can barely type that >_>; )

About the art: The character depicted is an 8-tailed fox named "Sutra," and belongs to the wonderfully talented artist: She is absolutely amazing, you should definately check her out! X3 This is for her contest that she's running now. I doubt it will win anything, but that's not the point of entering this. Mainly, I just wanted an excuse to draw frisket17's lovely character, just to see if I could do it XP Well, despite the fact that I think I messed up the tails, and despite the over-abundance of wrinkles in Sutra's dress, and despite the odd shadows created by my half-dead Horse Farm Tours, Inc. pen... I think it came out all right. Oh, and this is my first time entering anything in a contest! It's exciting X3 AND OH! This is really, really weird (and most of you probably won't believe it), but also really cool... This is actually my 8th attempt at drawing Sutra (no joke, I counted the number of crumpled papers on my bed XD) and it just so happens that Sutra has 8 tails... How cool is that?! XP Okay, I'll stop now... Hope you enjoy! (Especially you, Miss. Frisket X3)
